Staff Profiles
Jonathan D. Haynes, CPA
Jon is a CPA actively licensed in Oregon and California. He began his accounting career in San Diego after serving in the Marine Corps. He attended Cal State University San Marcos and obtained his B.S. in Accounting and passed the CPA exam shortly thereafter. He relocated to Oregon in 2008 and has been at this practice in Silverton since 2009.
He is married to Julie and has two grown kids and three grandkids. He enjoys golf, taekwon do, spending time with family and traveling.
Nicole Outland
Nicole is an Enrolled Agent and a Licensed Tax Consultant. She prepares tax returns, payrolls, assist with accounting issues and QuickBooks questions. She has been with the firm since 1996, when she began as a receptionist. 2021 marks 25 years with the firm. Per Nicole: “It is hard to believe that I have been here longer than I have been married! Here’s to another 20 years with Haynes Tax & Advisory Services!”
Nicole is a native Oregonian. She currently lives in Salem with Jeff, her husband of 24 years, and their two kids, Justin and Myah. Justin is 20 years old. He completed his Associates degree at Chemeketa in June of 2020. He had planned on attending Western Oregon University in the fall of 2020, but due to the COVID pandemic he has decided to take some time off from college and digital learning. He is currently working part-time at Home Depot. Myah is 14 years old and is a Freshman at Blanchet Catholic School. She has figured out the digital learning process and is trying to enjoy choir through Zoom meetings. She is hoping to go back to school soon, if not for all of her classes, she would like to go back for choir.
